Dr. Ali-Akbar Samadani received his M.Phil. degree in Molecular Medical Genetics (2015) and his Ph.D. in Applied Cellular Sciences (Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine) in 2017 from the Medical School of  Babol University of Medical Sciences. He has published numerous articles in these related fields in reputable peer-reviewed journals, as well as a book on genetics, and collaborates with many distinguished scientists and journals worldwide. He also works as a medical laboratory specialist specializing in disease diagnosis, particularly different types of cancers, using cellular and molecular methods and regularly collaborates as a reviewer with numerous top journals and organizations. Dr. Samadani’s research focuses on cell therapy, cancer genetics, and molecular oncology; additionally, he is active in the fields of fertility and infertility. He also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Current Oncology and Medical Sciences (JCOMS). In addition to teaching students at various academic levels, including specialized and general medical programs, he has supervised and advised numerous theses across a wide range of disciplines, such as Ph.D., medical residency, Master’s, General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at Guilan University of Medical Sciences, conducting research at the Trauma Research Institute (Poursina Hospital) and working within the relevant university faculties.
